What we offer

Psychological therapy is our primary work.

Evidence-based psychological therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, life transitions, and the complex middle of being a person. Children, adolescents, and adults.

Assessment

Cognitive, ADHD, autism, and learning assessments for diagnostic clarity, school and workplace accommodations, and self-understanding. Online where appropriate, in-person in Randwick.

Behaviour Support

Positive behaviour support for NDIS participants with complex needs, delivered by practitioners under clinical-psychology leadership.

Supervision

Clinical supervision for psychologists (PsyBA-approved) and behaviour support practitioners. Group and individual, online.

How we work

Three things we won't compromise on.

01 · Clinical-psychology led

Clinical leadership shapes every case.

Our team is led by a clinical psychologist and supported by registered psychologists, social workers, and behaviour support practitioners. Clinical leadership shapes how we formulate, plan, and deliver care across the team.

02 · Neurodivergent-affirming

A difference, not a deficit.

We treat neurodivergence as a difference rather than a deficit. Our therapy and assessment approaches accommodate, rather than pathologise, the way our clients' brains actually work.

03 · Where you are

Care that fits your life.

In-clinic in Randwick. Via telehealth anywhere in Australia. In your home across Sydney for NDIS participants. Care that fits your life, not the other way around.

For adults

Therapy for what you're carrying, what you're working through, or what you can't quite name yet. We see adults privately, under Medicare with a Mental Health Treatment Plan, or self-managed.

For parents

Assessment and therapy for your child or adolescent. We work alongside you, your child's school where useful, and any other clinicians involved in their care.

FAQs

Common questions

Do I need a referral from a doctor?

No, not unless you want to access Medicare rebates. You can refer yourself or your family member to Ivy directly. If you want to claim Medicare rebates on therapy sessions, you'll need a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP.

Where do you see clients?

At our Randwick clinic, online via telehealth across Australia, and in-home across Sydney and Melbourne for NDIS participants. In-home sessions are only available for NDIS participants whose plans support it, not for Medicare or private clients. Each clinician sees clients in some but not all of these settings, and the team page shows where each clinician works.

Does Ivy work with NDIS participants?

Yes. We are a registered NDIS provider (registration number 4050138847) offering behaviour support, psychological therapy, and psychological assessment.

How long do I have to wait?

It depends on the type of support. For private psychology, we can usually book you in the same week, or the following week at the latest. NDIS supports typically take 1 to 2 weeks for onboarding and to get booked in. Assessments typically take 2 to 4 weeks to get booked in, sometimes longer depending on the assessment.

What does a session cost?

Therapy sessions are $310 with a clinical psychologist, $290 with a registered psychologist, and $120 with a provisional psychologist. A $15 surcharge applies to appointments scheduled on weekdays after 5pm and all weekend sessions.
