Psychological Therapy
Ivy Psychology offers evidence-based psychological therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our psychologists work across a wide range of presentations including anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, relationship and identity work, parenting and family concerns, life transitions, and the psychological aspects of neurodiversity.
Our approach
We draw on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), schema therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) skills, trauma-focused therapies including EMDR, interpersonal therapy, and psychodynamic approaches. The right modality depends on the person and the presentation - we match the approach to the client, not the other way around.
Sessions
Most therapy sessions run 50 minutes. We work from our Randwick clinic in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, and offer secure telehealth across Australia. NDIS participants who require in-home support can arrange this through their psychologist.
Funding pathways
Private fees, Medicare rebates (with a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP), private health extras cover, NDIS (Self-Managed, Plan-Managed, NDIA-Managed), workers compensation, motor accident schemes, and victims of crime schemes. See our fees page for current rates.
